The 10th annual Ian’s Cup match was held on Friday, March 22nd at Blossom Athletic Center.
Reagan H.S. took home the cup and bragging rights with an aggregate score of 3-1 The Reagan boy’s won 2-0 and the girls tied 1-1.
Scholarships were awarded to the following:
Marcayla Walker received the $500 scholarship for JHS. A $500 donation was presented to the SAPD in her honor to provide helmets to youth in need.
Rachel Hilliard and Michael Morell received the $500 scholarships for RHS and both chose STRAPS to receive the matching $500 donation in their honor to allow individuals confined to wheelchairs the opportunity to play soccer.
Santiago Bustos Zapata received the $500 scholarship for JHS. A $500 donation was presented to SA United Soccer Club in his honor to allow underprivileged individuals the opportunity to play soccer.
A $1,000 donation was made to the Mays YMCA to allow underprivileged youth the opportunity to play soccer.
